I am a Software Development Engineer in the Windows Client organisation of Microsoft. Before moving to Redmond I was working as a Software Development Engineer in the Unified Communications Group of Microsoft in Zurich, Switzerland, where I was a member of the Zürich Development Center (ZDC) for Collaboration Technologies of Microsoft. Before joining Microsoft I spent some time at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH) in Zürich where I earned my MSc in Computer Science with focus on Operating Systems, Runtime Systems and Compilers. A couple of years before that, I was the co-founder and Senior Software Engineer of a local company (which believe it or not has actually survived the dotcom bubble).
